Grade 6 and Grade 8 are national-level examinations administered by the regional ministry of education. Both exams are generally conducted in July. They are administered once a year. The grade 6 national exam is taken at the end of the academic year. After that, students get promoted to class 7. Similarly, the 8th-grade national exam is conducted at the end of the academic year. After that, they get promoted to higher-level education.

The ministry exam in Ethiopia is scheduled in June every year. The Ministry of Education typically determines when the examination will be held. The ministry exam results are generally announced a few weeks after the exam date. Last year, the results were published in mid-July and, in some regions, late July and August.
Grade 6 results often come out around the same time or shortly after the Grade 8 results. However, it has been reported that results are not released nationwide. Therefore, we will update the following table to determine when the ministry exam results will be released in each region.
How to check the Ministry Exam Result 2017 Online
There are two ways to get the ministry exam results online. The easiest way to check is to visit the official website, enter your details, and view your results. Here is how to do it.
- You must check your regional ministry results portal. For example, use the region’s address on the
ministry.etdomain - Now, find your region name and click on it.
- Click on Grade 8 or Grade 6 Result
- A result checker form will open.
- Lastly, enter your details, including your registration number and name.
- Finally, click on the Result Check Button.
You can save the result or download it in PDF form.
Second Way: Use the Telegram bot:
